Our Story
In 2012, we chose to go deep on one thing
BEGINNING After earning his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at KAIST, founder Jeongho Shin spent ten years as a Senior Researcher at the LG Electronics Production Engineering Research Institute, applying TRIZ to bottleneck problems on refrigerator and vacuum-cleaner mass-production lines. To share that field-tested approach with more organizations, he founded ETRIZ in 2012.
CONTINUITY From then to now we have focused on one thing — changing the way people think. Across 500+ corporate, academic, and public-sector engagements, 10+ published books, presentations at CEBIT in Germany and ISPI in the United States, and media appearances on CBS Sebasi and YTN, the touchpoints have multiplied — but the principle has never changed.
PRINCIPLE Technologies and tools change. So do trends. AI arrives, new management fads arrive — yet what ultimately changes an organization is still how its people think. That is why ETRIZ has built up one thing for 14 years.
"Make complex theory simple — and immediately useful." — Jeongho Shin's teaching credo, and the design standard for every ETRIZ program.
